FOR PUBLISHERS: PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Whether you're publishing a multiple-author anthology, a pamphlet of poets, or a whole series of single-author books, I'm a seasoned project manager who can help keep everything in order and running on time.
It's so important for everyone to be kept in the loop when there are lots of authors involved. I can take your project on in the early stages, set a schedule that suits your publishing date, communicate with the authors and you to keep everyone in the loop, copy-edit the text for house style and consistency throughout the collected pieces, typeset the book(s), organise the proofreader and printer, and make any final tweaks to get it on-press on time.
To discuss how I can work with your authors, please do get in touch, using the form at the end of the page.
As a seasoned competition and slush-pile reader, I can even help you in the early stages of finding the work to go in your anthology or series.
My specialism is the short story, having worked as Editor for Thresholds, the international short story journal, for eight years, but I've also worked on first-chapter competitions, as well as non-fiction prizes, and I read fiction and non-fiction professionally for UK publishing houses too.
